Teriyaki Beef & Mixed Rice

Teriyaki Beef & Mixed Rice 1

You will need:

300g beef steak, thinly sliced
2 tbsp soya sauce
1 tsp rapeseed oil (i used Borderfields Cold Pressed Rapeseed Oil)
1 tbsp honey
1 garlic clove, chopped
1 cm ginger, chopped

For Rice:

100g mixed brown rice
1 pak choi, chopped
1 small broccoli, chopped
1 tsp coconut oil

Place soy sauce, honey, rapeseed oil, ginger and garlic in a bowl and mix it well with the thinly sliced steak. Leave it to marinade for few hours.
Then fry the beef in non sticky frying pan, till browned.

In a large pot bring to boil 300ml water, then ad the mixed rice and boil till cooked 30 – 40 minutes. In a separate pot boil chopped bok choi and broccoli.
When all cooked, add the bok choi, broccoli, 1 teaspoon of coconut oil to the rice and mix it.

Sprinkle black and white sesame seeds to serve.
